Good, Good, Evening Sarah Scott Family,

This is Scotia Brown, your principal, with your Scottie Burst for the week of February 26th.

It’s County Week!  And, we’re excited that our 6th and 7th grade girls’ basketball teams will be looking for victory on Tuesday.  You’ve seen our girl’s skills grow this season.  Please come out and cheer them on to victory, on Tuesday, at this home game.  If they are successful, they will compete for the County Championship on Thursday.  We sure hope they make it!  Join us at 5:00, in the Sarah Scott bleachers.

It’s Spirit Week:

Monday –Pajama Day

Tuesday–Orange, Black, and White Day (GAME DAY)

Wednesday-Teacher Twin Day-Scotties partner with a teacher

Thursday-Black Out Day-Wear all black

Friday-Minions Day

Parents, please remind your Scottie to charge their Chromebook.  A fully charged Chromebook is key to your Scotties success.

We have a competition between our grade levels to see who can complete the most ALEKS math topics.   The grade level with the most ALEKS topics completed will win a private showing of the movie, “Ant man and the Wasp.”  Scotties have to have at least 60 math topics completed in order to participate.  We were amazed at how well our Scotties did with the last competition.  We’re excited to see what they do with this competition!

Good luck to our Scotties who will be competing in the Regional Science Fair competition, this Saturday.

Remember that tutoring is available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00.

We are looking forward to a great week, “At Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
