Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,

This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of January 29th.

Parents, did you know that math support is available for your Scottie every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30 to 4:30, with Mr. Tyler?  If your Scottie needs math support…help is available!

Our 6th and 7th grade girls’ basketball teams are ready to show us their skills on Monday, as they travel to West Vigo Middle School to compete.  We’d love to have you join us in the bleachers at West Vigo, as we cheer on our teams.  The game starts at 5:00.

Tuesday, our 6th and 7th grade girls will match their skills against Honey Creek Middle School.  This will be an away game.  If you can join our girls’ basketball teams and cheerleaders, we’d love to have you!  The games begin at 5:00.

Thursday, our girls will have the home court advantage, when they “take it to the hoop” in their game against Woodrow Wilson Middle School.  Our 6th and 7th grade girls’ basketball teams will be primed and ready.  See you in the bleachers at 5:00!

8th grade parents, Terre Haute South will be hosting a curriculum fair on Monday, February 6that 6:00 and we want all of our 8th grade Scotties to attend.  There will be a lot of important information shared that will help make the transition from middle school to high school more successful.  Sarah Scott will be providing buses for our Scotties to go to the curriculum fair.  Please be sure to sign and return your Scotties green sheet and permission slip by this Friday.

Scotties, you can get help with Science Fair projects, from Mrs. Cox, before and after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  We hope you take advantage of this help, so your Science Fair project will be AMAZING!

Parents, can you help us?  Can you remind your Scottie to PLUG IN THEIR CHROMEBOOK!  We are having too many students coming in, either without their Chromebooks or  without charging their Chromebooks.  They can’t complete their work, if they don’t have a charged Chromebook.  Can you remind them to “Charge It!”

Principal’s Open Door is every Monday from 3:30 to 4:30.  Parent’s I would love to talk with you, “At Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
