Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott,

This is Scotia Brown, your principal of Sarah Scott Middle School. I am calling with your Scottie Burst for the week of May 16th.

We are quickly approaching the end of this school year.  And it has been a good one!  On Thursday, we will celebrate our academic scholars and athletes at 2:35 on Thursday.  Because of COVID, parents are not able to attend this event.  But, you are welcome to watch it live on our Youtube, Scottie livestream.

Parents, 8th grade graduation will be Thursday, May 27th at 6:00.  Students are allowed a maximum of two guests.  Everyone else is invited to watch the graduation on our Youtube, Scottie livestream.

Friday, May 21st we will have Field Day.  Please make sure your Scottie wears tennis shoes, in order to participate in the events.

Just a reminder that all library books must to be returned.  If a Scottie has any Library books, which have not been turned in by Thursday, May 20th, he/she will not be able to participate in Field Day.

All athletic uniforms and spikes must also be returned by Thursday, May 20th,in order for Scotties to participate in Field Day.

Also, on Field Day, students must have a signed permission slip to participate in the Field Day inflatables and Rock Wall.

Please know that if you need a food box, Grandmas Cupboard is here to help. Call the school and ask for Miss Campbell-Miller.

One last announcement, Camp Curiosity is the place to be June 1st thru June 18th.  Our current 6th and 7th grade Scotties have math and English enrichment.  They will also be able to explore art, music, cooking, silly Science and more.  Scotties will be CPR certified, participate in a Jr. Police Academy, watch Miss Campbell-Miller get taezed and see Miss Brown attacked by police dogs.  Camp Curiosity is the place to be this summer, ‘cause it’s going to be fun.  Scotties can sign-up on the Sarah Scott website.  Hurry, there we only have 50 openings!  Reserve your Scotties seat today at Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
