WSSN News

Our Program

WSSN is the product of Sarah Scott’s broadcast journalism program. Sarah Scott is also partnered with CNN Newsource which adds to the content for the broadcasts.

The course provides instruction in news reporting and live production. Students refine their analytical reading and oral communication skills and are provided with experiences that may form the basis for a future college major in communications.

Students prepare and present newscasts in a broadcast environment. Reporting, sound, and digital video editing and presentation design are among the topics covered.
