Good Evening, 

 

Tomorrow morning, it is our monthly Meaningful Monday during our drop off. Enjoy a hot chocolate or a bottle of water and the monthly newsletter. 

 

Please encourage your student(s) to take advantage of all of the help available before school and after school with our teachers and staff. You can sign up using the google form on the school website. Check skyward for missing assignments, grades, and more. With that being said, Midterms will be posted on Wednesday for grading period 3 via Skyward. 

 

7th grade students will be attending the NEAT Experience field trip on Tuesday and Wednesday, Be sure those permission slips have been signed and turned in. An electronic copy was also sent via skyward. 

 

8th grade students: You don’t want to miss South’s Curriculum Fair Tuesday, Feb. 6, beginning at 6:00 in the auditorium. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to see pathways, new classes and curriculum offered, and more. Scheduling will occur on Wednesday, February 14 for freshman classes. . 

 

Student Council will be selling hot cocoa bombs, 2 for 50 cents! That’s a great deal! They will be sold during lunch hours. Send to a friend, sibling, or yourself! 

 

Our 7/8th grade girls’ basketball team will play Wilson Wednesday at home beginning at 5:00! Let’s bring home another Victory! Gooooooooo Scotties! 

 

Our first wrestling match will also be Wednesday and will travel to Wilson. This event will begin at 5:00. Good luck to all of our wrestlers! You also have team pictures. 

 

Mark your calendars for our Food Distribution next Monday from 9:00-10:00. Please share the information with friends, family, and the community. 

 

Next Tuesday is our Science Fair and Title 1 STEM Family Night with the Children’s Museum from 5:30-7:00. More information will be shared next week.
