This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of January 9th. We are so glad to have our Scotties back from Christmas break. We’ve had a great start to this new grading period. Here are your announcements for this week:
It’s that time. 8th grade parents, please mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 15th at 6pm for the Terre Haute South Curriculum Fair. This is a very important opportunity to learn about classes, teachers and the programs at Terre Haute South. 8th graders, you will want to be a part of this meeting.
Parents, just a reminder that your Scottie will need to bring a water bottle to drink from. Due to COVID, students are not allowed to drink directly from the water fountain.
Monday, our 8th grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams have a home game against West Vigo. Please join us in the stands.
Tuesday, our 8th grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be on the road, to compete with Otter Creek Middle School. The games against Otter Creek are always great. Come support our teams as they take it to the hoop!
Thursday, Woodrow Wilson will be at Sarah Scott for a game with our 8th grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams. We can’t let them get a win in our house. Won’t you come and join us in the stands. Help us cheer our teams on a victory! All visitors are expected to mask and to respect social distancing.
Sarah Scott will have a food distribution on Monday, from 9 to 10am. As always, our food distribution is open to everyone. Please share this information with everyone on your social media.
