Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,

This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with the last Scottie Burst for the year of 2021!  Can you believe it?  This will be the last week of school for our Scotties, and it is filled with a lots of excitement!  Here are your announcements:

We will have a food distribution on Monday, from 9:00 to 10:00, in front of Sarah Scott.  If you or someone you know needs a food box, SPREAD THE WORD!  Everyone is welcome!  Please share this food distribution on your social media.  Again, anyone from the community is welcome!

Parents, this Friday is the end of the grading period.  We have a number of Scotties with multiple missing assignments.  Our teachers don’t want you to be concerned, so please check out your Scotties gradebook, on Skyward.  The gradebook will show current grades, if there are any missing assignments and what those missing assignments are.  Please encourage your Scottie to complete those assignments and get them turned in ASAP!  It will make a HUGE difference on their grades.

We are celebrating the holidays with Christmas Spirit Week!

Monday–Pajama Day

Tuesday–Grinch Day

Wednesday–Christmas Hat, Headband, Hair Day

Thursday–Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

Friday-Christmas Socks and Red/Green Day

Also, on Friday, we will be Livestreaming our Christmas Program.  You can find the program on  Scottie Livestream on Youtube at 2:30 and enjoy!

Scotties, if you still need to do some Christmas shopping, check out our Facebook page to find out the Christmas Store Shopping Schedule for this up-coming week.

Because we had to move County Week, our 6th and 7th grade boys’ basketball teams are ready to go.  They will have their first game on Wednesday, against Honey Creek Middle School.  If you miss this game, you’re gonna miss a great one.  Go with us and let’s cheer our boys on to victory.  This game will be held at Honey Creek Middle School.  This game will begin at 5:00.

The next game…and it’s the BIG one, will be for the County Championship, on Thursday at Terre Haute South.  Yep, our boys have the skills to take the title!!  Be a part of the excitement.  The game starts at 6:00 at Terre Haute South.

We wish you a safe and wonderful Christmas, from your family “At Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
