Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of November 28th. We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. School will start bright and early tomorrow morning. So, let’s get started with your announcements for this week. Here we go:
Scotties, remember that you are expected to bring your school ids with you, every day. Miss Campbell-Miller will be at the door rewarding Scotties with Scottie Bucks for having your ID. You will want to avoid consequences for not having your ID, so put your ID in your backpack tonight.
Monday, our 8th grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be traveling to Woodrow Wilson. We hope you can travel with us to support our teams. This is an away game.
Also, on Monday, our 6th and 7th grade boys’ basketball teams will be traveling to North Clay to compete. We have had great support for our 6th and 7th grade teams. We hope you can join us tomorrow. Our teams would love to hear you in the stands, cheering for them.
Tuesday, our 6th and 7th grade boys will have a home game against West Vigo Middle School. West Vigo had better get ready, cause, our teams are going to show up….ready to win!! Won’t you join us? Again, this will be a home game. Don’t forget that everyone is expected to wear masks and socially distance. All games begin at 5:00.
Parents, please join us for our Chili Supper/Parent Meeting on Thursday at 6:00. Our meeting will be held in the cafeteria . We will reward those students; whose parents attend the meeting with 50 Scottie Bucks. And, we will have drawings for two wonderful gift baskets, just in time for the holidays. Please join us for this important meeting. We need your input and support.
As always, Grandmas’ Cupboard is available for our families who need a food box. Just call the school and ask for Miss Campbell-Miller.
Check out your Scotties grades. If your Scottie is struggling in his/her classes, help is available, for every class, before school from 7:25 to 7:55, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, math help is available, after school, each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30.
