This is Scotia Brown, your principal, with your Scottie Burst for the week of November 21st. Here are your announcements for this week:
Our 6th and 7th grade boys’ basketball will take to the floor on Monday for their games against Woodrow Wilson Middle School. This will be a home game. Our boys have really played hard this season and they’ve done a great job! Won’t you consider joining us in the stands to cheer them on to victory? Guests are asked to wear masks and to socially distance themselves.
School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, as we celebrate Thanksgiving. Classes will resume bright and early Monday morning, November 29th.
We hope you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, with you loved ones. If your family is need of a food box, please call the school. Miss Campbell-Miller will be honored to help you.
Please continue to collect plastic caps and plastic lids for us. Our goal is to collect enough caps to have a bench made for the school. In order to make that happen, we need 500 pounds of caps. Will you help us?
