Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the Week of October 10th. I hope you all are having a safe and restful fall break! We get to enjoy one more day of fall break and students will return to Sarah Scott, bright and early Tuesday morning!
Congratulations to our 6th and 7th grade boys, who made the basketball team! Miss Campbell-Miller and Mr. Fuqua have shared that we have some talented student athletes on the team. We are looking forward to seeing each of our young men show us their skills on the basketball court.
We are also looking forward to seeing our cheerleaders and dance team showcase their skills! Both, the cheerleaders and the dance team, have been practicing hard. We will get to enjoy their skills in a couple of weeks.
Family, the school corporation does not allow students to have cough drops in the building. Please make you’re your student is not bringing cough drops to Sarah Scott.
The corporation’s cell phone policy for middle school students is that students may have their phones with them before school starts, during lunch and after school. Other than that, their phones are to be turned off and kept in their lockers. Parents, if you need to get in touch with your student, please call the school and we will get the message to them. If they need to call you, they are to come to the office and use the school phone to make the call. Do not call or text them during the day. Doing so is a cell phone violation for your student.
Family, we need to you to help us spread the word again. We will be having another food distribution on Monday, October 18th. If you or anyone you know needs a food box…come on by on Monday, October 18th between 9:00 and 11:00. Please share this information on your social media. Everyone is welcome!
Let’s have a great week, at “Sarah Scott: Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
