Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,

This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of February 20th.

School will be closed tomorrow, February 21st, in observance of President’s Day.  Classes will resume Tuesday morning at 8:05.

We are excited that Camp Adventure will be starting on Tuesday and will meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, after school, until 5:00.  Scotties will be able to explore, 3D Printing, music, business, folk tales movie magic and so much more.  Snacks are provided.   Transportation is also provided for those Scotties who requested it.  Camp Adventure has so much great stuff planned!  We are looking forward to seeing your there!

Congratulations to our Science Bowl team for their efforts!    On Saturday, our Science Bowl team represented Sarah Scott in the annual Science Bowl.  Great job, Scotties!

On Tuesday, our 6th and 7th grade girls have home game against Woodrow Wilson Middle School.  Join us at 5:00, when our 6th graders take the court.

Scotties, hopefully you’ve put your best forward for the Science Fair!  Projects will be judged on Wednesday, February 23rd.

On Thursday, our 6th and 7th grade girls continue their quest for victory, as they take on St. Pats.  This will be a home game.  We hope you can join us in the stands, as we  cheer for our teams.

8th grade parents, please note that the THS counselors will NOT be at Sarah Scott on Thursday.  We will be rescheduling this event.  We will share the date, in the near future.

To our 7th and 8th grade parents, have you completed the 21st Century Scholarship application?  Please take a few minutes to apply for this $65,000 scholarship for your Scottie.  We have paper copies of the application at the school, or you can apply online at ScholarTrack.IN.gov.  If you need help, call Sarah Scott and ask for Miss Emily Wilson, our school counselor.

Just a reminder that if your family needs a food box, complete the form, on our Sarah Scott website.

We are looking forward to a great week, “At Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
