This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of September 11th. Here are your announcements for this week:
Monday morning, Sarah Scott, in partnership with Catholic Charities, will host a food distribution. We understand that there are times when families have difficulty and we want to help. Our food distribution is open to everyone! Please help us spread the word. Anyone needing a food box should come to Sarah Scott between 9:00 and 10:00 to pick up a food box. Again, the food distribution is tomorrow between 9:00 and 10:00.
Monday, the cross country team starts the week with a race against Woodrow Wilson Middle School. This race will take place at Fairbanks Park.
Tuesday, our boys’ tennis team will compete against Woodrow Wilson Middle School. This match will take place at Woodrow Wilson. Join us on the side lines, as we cheer boy’s tennis team on to victory.
Also, on Tuesday, our girls’ volleyball teams will be on the road to garner a victory in their match against Parke Heritage Middle School. This will be our girls first time competing against Parke Heritage…and they’re looking for a victory! If you can travel with the us and support the team we’d love to have you join us!
Wednesday, our cross country team will be on the road to claim a victory in their race against Marshall Junior High School. Travel with us, as we take on Marshall Junior High School for the first time.
Also, on Thursday, the girl’s JV and Varsity teams will be on the courts, competing against Otter Creek Middle School. This is an away game.
Thursday, our boys’ tennis team will be on the road for their tennis match against Otter Creek Middle School. Won’t you consider joining us? All athletic events begin at 5:00.
Get ready for the Glo Party. The Sarah Scott Glo Party will be on Friday, from 3:30 to 5:30. The cost of the Glo Party will be $7.00. Tickets for the party will be sold during Scotties lunch periods.
Scotties, remember that you are to wear your student ID’s at all times. If you have lost your ID, you can get one free one. After that, the cost of the ID’s are $10.00. Scotties who don’t wear their ID’s will be assigned a lunch detention.
