Moving from elementary school to middle school can be difficult. Honey Creek Middle School has people in place to lend a helping hand to the new 6th graders.
Counselors Mrs. Tresner and Mrs. Gregg along with 7th grade science teacher Mrs. Stout have worked with six teachers serving as Beekeeper Teacher Leaders (Mrs. Barbour, Ms. Curley, Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Hopper, Mrs. Lee, and Mrs. Webb) to organized and train fifty-five 8th grade Beekeepers.
The Beekeepers have planned many activities for 6th Grade Orientation to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 10th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. including a school tour and working with locker combinations. The Beekeepers will keep in touch with their groups throughout the school year.
