Hello Scotties!
Attention 6th grade parents and students:
All VCSC 6th grade middle school students are invited to attend a women’s basketball game at Hulman Center courtesy of Indiana State University. Students will receive a free t-shirt and will be able to cheer on the home team. A school sack lunch will be provided. All costs are covered by ISU and sponsors so, the trip is free to students. Permission slips should be returned no later than Monday, November 6, 2023.
Veterans Day program is this Thursday, Nov 9, 2023 at 2:30. If you have a family member that has served in the military or is currently serving, please fill out the form below by tomorrow, Monday, November 6. We will not have school on Friday, November 10 in observance of Veterans Day.

Our Spell Bowl team, coached by Mrs. Smitley, competed this past Wednesday at the regional competition. They placed second in the region. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication.
6th grade Snow Globe Dance will be at the Boys and Girls Club on Saturday, December 2, 7-9 pm. Tickets will be available November 13-29th for $15 cash only, $20 at the door. 7th grade Peppermint Dreams will be at the Boys and Girls Club Friday, December 1, 7-9 pm. Tickets will be available 13th-29th for $15 cash only, $20 at the door. 8th grade Snowball Dance will be at Sarah Scott Middle School Friday, December 1, 7-9 pm for $10. Tickets will go on sale November 13 in the main office.
6th grade basketball teams will travel to Owen Valley Middle School tomorrow to play at 6:00. On Tuesday, our 6th grade teams will play West Vigo at home beginning at 5:00 while our 7th and 8th grade boys’ teams will travel to West Vigo. Those games will begin at 5:00 as well.
On Wednesday, we will have our Dog Tag Ceremony at 2:30. Congratulations to our Scotties.
We are going to have some warmer temperatures this week. Enjoy the sunny weather!
