Hello Scotties!
It’s been a full week of Parent Teacher Conferences with more conferences this week. If you haven’t had your conference yet, please call the main office and they can help you with scheduling.
A couple of announcements for this week. Student Council will be selling pink cupcakes for $1 and frozen yogurt for 50 cents Monday and Tuesday for breast cancer awareness.
Student Council is also selling SSMS kindness t-shirts and sweatshirts. Orders and money are due on Wednesday, November 1. World Kindness Day is Monday, November 13, as we plan to wear our shirts!
Creating Positive Relationships curriculum for 7th grade students is presented this week in science classes. Permission slips were sent via skyward and a paper copy by your student. Send those in ASAP.
Good luck to our Spell Bowl team and Coach Smitley as they compete Wednesday evening at the regional competition. The competition will be held here at Sarah Scott beginning at 5:30.
This Saturday will be our first Super Saturday from 10:00-1:00. These fun and engaging sessions help our Scotties learn what’s outside in the world of interests, careers, and more! Chemists, engineers, along with others from Hydrite, will be demonstrating cool skills with chemicals on Saturday! You don’t want to miss out! Permission slips will be available.
