Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,

This is Scotia Brown, your principal, with your Scottie Burst for this week.  I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we are quickly coming to the end of this school year.  It has been a great one and we still have soooo much left to do, so let’s get started with our activities for this week:

Congratulations to all of our scholars, who did such a great job of representing Sarah Scott at Saturdays’ Academic Super Bowl.  There were 18 school represented and Sarah Scott scholars held their own winning 1st place ribbons in  social studies, and English, 2nd place in Interdisciplinary, and 4th place in science!  Scotties, you make us proud every day!   Thank you and congratulations to our coaches, who worked diligently to prepare our scholars to compete!

Monday we have several things happening.  We will be celebrating our Top 10 students, in the 8th grade, with a field trip to Paoli, IN, where they will experience an African safari!  They will get to see, up close, lions and tigers and bears!  Oh, my!

Also, on Monday, our girls’ tennis team will be competing against Otter Creek Middle School.  This match will take place at Otter Creek.

On Wednesday, our girls’ tennis team will be looking for victory in their match against Woodrow Wilson Middle School.  This match will take place at  Woodrow Wilson.

Dance auditions will take place on Saturday, May 13th and Monday, May 15th.  All interested Scotties must have a completed physical form on file.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lugar.
