Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of April 9, 2023. We only have a short time left in this school year, but we have so much left to do! So, let’s get started with our activities for this week:
Say “Good Morning” and wave as you drop off your Scottie tomorrow. We’ll have a cup of our famous hot chocolate and a Danish for you, as we enjoy Meaningful Monday.
From 9:00 to 10:00, Sarah Scott, in partnership with Catholic Charities will have our food distribution. If you or someone you know needs a food box, come by Sarah Scott on Monday, between 9 and 10 to get a food box. Please help us, by spreading the word. We want all of our families to have what you need. Again, the food distribution is from 9 to 10, in front of Sarah Scott.
We start the week off, on Monday, with a track meet against Woodrow Wilson Middle School. Our 7th/8th grade track teams will be competing at Sarah Scott, while our 6th grade teams will compete at Woodrow Wilson.
The Sarah Scott cheerleading parents, there will be a parent meeting on Monday at 5:00, in the cafeteria. Baelee Fagg, our cheerleading coach, will share some important information with parents. Parents, it is important that you attend this meeting.
Tuesday, our girls’ Tennis team has a tennis match with Honey Creek Middle School. The match will take place at Honey Creek.
Thursday, our girls’ tennis team will be matching their skills against Otter Creek Middle School. This match will take place at Sarah Scott.
All athletic events begin at 5:00.
Parents please remind your Scottie to charge their Chromebook tonight.
We’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning, “At Sarah Scott: Were Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
