Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of March 12th.
Help us spread the word that Sarah Scott, in partnership with Catholic Charities will be having our food distribution tomorrow morning from 9:00 to 10:00. Anyone needing a food box is welcome. Please share this on your social media. Times are hard and people are in need. The Sarah Scott family is here to help.
Our boys and girls track teams have begun conditioning for the season. We encourage all of our Scotties to join the track team. Scotties must have a completed physical form, on file, in order to participate.
Cheerleader tryouts will be held March 22nd, 23rd and 24th from 4:00 to 6:30. Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade Scottie interested in trying out must attend the tryouts on these dates. More information is available in the cheerleading packets, located in the main office.
For those of you planning to try out for the Sarah Scott Dance Team, those tryouts will be May 13th and 15th. We will share more information on Dance Team tryouts, when we get closer to the date.
We hope you’ll join us this Friday for the Sarah Scott Fish Fry from 4:30 to 7:30. This is our annual fundraiser for our Scotties. We will have catfish, pulled pork and all the sides. We will have a silent auction, raffles and a bake sale. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under 10 years of age. Please let all your family, friends and co-workers to come. It will be great food for a great cause!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and we’ll see you at, “Sarah Scott: Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
