Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of February 19th. We hope our Scotties enjoyed President’s Day and you’re ready to return to Sarah Scott, bright and early tomorrow morning!
Tuesday, our 6th and 7th grade girls will be traveling to Woodrow Wilson Middle School to compete. Join us in the bleachers and cheer on our girls.
Wednesday, our 6th and 7th grade girls are looking to bring home a victory, in their game against Otter Creek Middle School. A show of support, from you, would be wonderful.
Thursday, our girls will have the home court advantage, as they take on St. Pat’s. We’d love to have you in the cheering section. All games begin at 5:00.
Family, please check your students’ Skyward account, in order to see your Scotties mid-term grades. If you have any questions, regarding grades, Skyward will allow you to see any missing assignments, test scores, etc. If you still have questions, feel free to email your Scotties teachers. They welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
Math support is available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30 to 4:30. Parents, hopefully your Scotties will be taking advantage of the tutoring, which will begin tomorrow. Tutoring will be offered each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30. The school corporation will be providing bus transportation home for students, who participate in the after school tutoring. If you are interested in having your Scottie join afterschool tutoring. He/she can still sign-up on the Sarah Scott website. Although it may be too late to get transportation. If you have questions, feel free to call the school and ask for Mrs. Cox.
Enjoy the rest of your evening. Plug in those Chromebooks and get them fully charged, for tomorrow’s drawing. We’ll see you in the morning, “At Sarah Scott: Where hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
