Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of December 18th. Yes, this is the last Scottie Burst for the 2022 year. Although Scotties will only be in school Monday and Tuesday, we have a lot yet to do! So, here are your announcements for this week.
On Saturday, Sarah Scott held a basketball clinic for all of our current and future basketball players. Rushia Brown, former WNBA player took our players through their paces; sharing tips to help them build their skills. We had about 30 young men and 20 young ladies to come out and participate in the clinic.
Tryouts for 6th and 7th grade girls’ basketball teams will be held on Monday from 3:30 to 5:30. The names of those chosen for the teams will be posted at the end of tryouts on Monday.
Please note that Scotties will have early release on Tuesday. Students will be dismissed at 2:30. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 4th.
