Happy Mother’s Day! Enjoy the sun and relax. Thanks for all you do! Thank you to all families who contributed snacks for the staff this week during Teacher Appreciation Week. It was much appreciated.
Tomorrow morning is our food distribution from 9-10am. Please share with friends and families.
Students who are trying out for Scottie Dance Crew will have tryouts Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 5:00.
Monday night we will honor our Eddie Conners Award recipients; Mariah Sandifer and Zion Turner. Sportsmanship, loyalty, respect, character and personal development are all qualities these student athletes exemplify! Congratulations on this prestigious award.
On Wednesday, our choir will perform at 2:40. This will be livestreamed on our Youtube channel @Scottie LiveStream. Parents of choir students are invited to attend.
Our band/orchestra concert will be on Wednesday, May 21 at 2:40.
Mark your calendars for our academic and sports awards on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00. 8th grade graduation is Thursday, May 29th at 6:00.
Our amazing field day is on Friday. It’s going to be a great day of fun!
Parents, there is a dangerous challenge on Tiktok where students are intentionally trying to set their chromebooks on fire by pencil lead, staples or metal into the charging ports causing fires. We are asking for your support in speaking with your child about the very real dangers of this behavior, as well as reinforcing the importance of treating school-issued devices with care. Thank you.
