Hello Sarah Scott Families,
This week is the state ILEARN testing for 6th grade students only. It is extremely important for students to be on time, have a charged chromebook, and be well rested. Our testing days are Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Please check your portfolio on Skyward as 4th grading period midterms were posted. Students will have a data day on Thursday.
Our swim team broke 6 school records last week for the school at County! Woo Hoo!
Monday night our 6th grade students will travel to Woodrow Wilson and 7th and 8th grade track will be at a home match.
On Tuesday, tennis will be at home vs. West. They will begin at 5:00.
If you are interested in trying out for the cheer team, tryouts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after school until 5:15. Please see Coach Martin if you have any questions.
On Wednesday, we will have our first “Water Wednesdays”. Students can purchase a water bottle and flavor packet for $1.00. Proceeds will go toward Field Day.
On Wednesday, our tech/robotics team will travel to The Learning Lab for Mania in the Middle. Our 6th grade track team will compete at home while our 7th and 8th grade track team will travel to West Vigo.
On Thursday, our tennis team will have a home match vs Honey Creek and our 7th and 8th grade track team will have a match vs. St. Patrick.
On Friday, there will be a Pay-to-Play for $2.00. Music, games, and fun will be during the last hour of the day.
On Saturday, Academic teams will compete at the Academic Super Bowl at SSMS. We will host 18 schools for the competition! Good luck Scotties!
