Mark your calendars for the Holiday Showcase on December 11 for Choir, Orchestra, and Band. Related Arts will be showing their projects as well. This family night will begin at 5:30.
It’s 6th grade County Week which means it’s Spirit Week! Show your school spirit!
Monday, December 4th – Scottie Spirit/Orange Out
Tuesday, December 5th – Dress up day
Wednesday, December 6th – Celebrity Day
Thursday, December 7th – Seasons Day
Friday, December 8th – Squad Day
Good luck to our 6th grade basketball teams.
On Monday at 5:00, our 7th and 8th grade boys’ teams have a game at home against West Vigo.
On Tuesday, our 6th grade teams will play at home at 5:00. If our Scotties are victorious, they will play in the county championship game on Thursday night at North High School at 6:00.
Just a reminder, the Board requires that all elementary and pre-high school students be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone when they arrive at the event and throughout its duration. Any unaccompanied student will not be allowed to attend the event.
7th grade students are going to see A Christmas Carol at the Indiana Repertory Theater in Indianapolis and eat at Chicago’s Pizza on Tuesday.
8th grade students-please return your permission slips for Ivy Tech. Your field trip is this Friday, December 8.
Be sure you are completing your ALEKS topics this grading period. You don’t want to miss out on the movie reward and free concessions! Hopefully you’ve been reading as well. “Chicken Wings and Things” sounds like a lot of fun to attend if you have 30 Reading Counts points. Bucket prizes are also on the stage.
Let’s make it a great week at Sarah Scott where: Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!
“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”—Princess Diana.
