Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,
This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of November 13th. We have some great news to share with you so let’s get started with that!
Congratulations to the Sarah Scott Spell Bowl team who travelled to Purdue to compete at the state level… and our AMAZING Scotties tied for 1st place in the state! AMAZING!!! And, our own, Miss Cox, coach extraordinaire, was named finalist coach of the year! Congratulations, Miss Cox and to all of our Spell Bowl Team Members, for an outstanding job!
Monday, our 6th grades boys have a home game against Park-Heritage. The game will begin at 5:30. We’d love to have you cheering our boys in the stands. This will be the first time we’ve played against Park-Heritage.
Tuesday join us in the bleachers as our 6th and 7th grade boys take it to the hoop, at Sarah Scott, in their game against Honey Creek Middle School. This will be a home game.
Thursday our 6th and 7th grade boys will be looking for a victory against Otter Creek Middle School. This will be a home game, starting at 5:00. Join us in the cheering section.
Thursday we will have picture retake day. If your Scottie didn’t have pictures taken or you’re were not pleased with the pictures, your Scottie can have pictures taken on Thursday.
Scotties, your ALEKS topics are due Friday. Remember, in order to join us for Black Panther 2, you need to complete 60 ALEKS topics by Friday. Complete 90 ALEKS topics and get a Snackpack! Get busy!
Scotties, midterm grades will be posted nest week. If you have missing assignments, get busy working to turn in those assignments. Parents remember that you can monitor your Scotties assignments on Canvas.
Join us tomorrow between 9 and 10 for the Sarah Scott food distribution. this food distributions is done in partnership with Catholic Charities. Be sure to spread the word with anyone you know who might need a food box.
