This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of November 6th.

Congratulations to our Spell Bowl team who won 1st place, in our division, at the Regional competition last week!  And, because they did such a great job the team will travel to Purdue on Saturday to compete in the State Spell Bowl Championship!  We know you’ll do a great job!  We are so proud of you!

Tomorrow is Meaningful Monday.  We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow morning, as you drop off your Scottie.  We will have hot chocolate, a Danish and a copy of the November parent newsletter.

Scotties, remember to keep working on your ALEKS topics and Reading Counts points.

Mark your calendars.  Help us spread the word.  Sarah Scott, in partnership with Catholic Charities, will have a food distribution next Monday.  We understand that it’s hard times out here.  Tell anyone you know who needs a food box to come to Sarah Scott next Monday, November 14th between 9 and 10:00 and pick up a food box.

They tried, but they can’t stop our caring, “At Sarah Scott:  Where Hope is Inspired, Talent is Trained, and Potential is Developed!”
