GRADING PERIODS
The end of the First Nine Weeks First Semester of school is Thursday, October 10th, 2024. The grades will be posted on Friday, October 18th, 2024.
The end of the Second Nine Weeks First Semester is Friday, December 20th, 2024. The grades will be posted on Friday, January 10th, 2025.
The end of the First Nine Weeks Second Semester of school is Friday, March 7th, 2025. The grades will be posted on Friday, March 14th, 2025.
The end of the Second Nine Weeks Second Semester is Friday, May 30th, 2025. The grades will be posted on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025.
SCHOOL HOURS
Our beginning time and the tardy bell rings at 8:10 am and school is dismissed at 3:15 pm.

REPORTING A STUDENT’S ABSENCE
If you have a student who is absent or needing to go to an appointment, please call 812-462-4252 and press 1 for the Attendance Office. After pressing the 1, be sure to press 1 again if your student needs a pass to leave school for any reason. Please give as much advance notice as possible if your student needs a pass out to leave. Press 2 for all other attendance issues, sickness, questions, etc . Thank you!
REPORTING A CHANGE OF ADDRESS
If you have a change of address, please bring an utility bill with your new address to South’s Dean’s Office. This can not be done on the website. Thank you!
