Congratulations to the Pride of South Marching Band on a great 1st weekend of competition!  They were 2nd place out of 7 groups in their class at the Brownsburg Invitational, and they were FIRST PLACE in MUSIC!  Great job Pride of South!

We are excited to let you know that THS has THREE students who have been announced as semifinalists to become National Merit Scholars. This is a huge accomplishment, only 15,000 students in the United States achieve this honor. Please congratulate them if you see them!!  Our semifinalists are:  Jeffrey Chen, Anneke Donker, and Eve Reid
Congratulations to the Pride of South Marching Band!  They earned 1st place out of 7 groups in Scholastic A Class at Greenwood, along with Best General Effect, Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, and Best Pit Crew!

Congratulations to the Pride of South Marching Band!   They earned 1st Place OVERALL out of 8 groups in ISSMA Scholastic A Class, tied for 1st Place in Music, and earned 1st Place in General Effect at the Avon Invitational!  Great job Band and Color Guard!

Congratulations to Ainsley Greig, Avery King, and Emeilyah Sands who participated in a side-by-side performance with the Indiana State Symphony Orchestra last weekend as a part of an annual Strings Festival.

Congratulations to the Pride Of South Marching Band!  They earned a Gold Rating at the ISSMA Scholastic Prelims in Jasper and also earned “With Distinction” medals in all three captions: Music, Visual and General Effect.  The last year the band earned the “triple with distinction” was 2017!  They head to Franklin Central on October 25 for ISSMA Scholastic Finals!
