Rules:
Rule #1: Be Prepared
- At Bell—sitting in assigned seat.
- Bring/Take—ALL books and materials should be brought to class and taken when leaving.
- Materials include book(s), a minimum of two usable pencils, blue or black pens (optional), paper, and a folder.
Rule #2: Follow Directions
- Each student will follow directions the first time they are given.
- Each student will pay attention to both verbal and written instructions.
- Each student will stay on task.
- Each student will do their best to follow all classroom procedures.
Rule #3: Be Respectful
- Each student will treat each person in the room with respect and dignity. This includes the teacher, visitors to the room, other students, and him or herself.
- Each student will respect property. This includes school property, the property of others, and the student’s own belongings.
- Each student will actively listen including eye contact, sitting up, and paying attention to the task at hand.
- Plagiarism (intentional, unintentional, active, or passive) will not be tolerated. If the plagiarism is accidental, it will result in a lowered grade for the assignment. In the case of deliberate plagiarism, no credit will be given for the assignment and the Dean’s office will be notified. See the plagiarism policy for more details including when you may fail the course.

- Follow all procedures and policies as outlined in any materials distributed or made available to you by Terre Haute South High School and the Vigo County School Corporation.
- This includes NO CELL PHONE USAGE or FOOD/DRINK IN CLASS without prior permission. Water bottles are okay, but they MUST have lids. I should NEVER see GUM.
