Meet Ms. Haymaker

My name is Sherri Haymaker.   I have 2 children, both attended Hoosier Prairie.  Alyssa is now attending Indiana State University and Nathan attends Purdue University.  I enjoy camping, taking walks, traveling and sometimes just relaxing and reading (preferably on the beach).  I have been teaching kindergarten since 2001.  I enjoy working with little people with lots of energy.  I love to watch them grow both physically and academically.   I believe that children at this age learn best by hands-on learning. Students need to be allowed to learn at their own pace.  It is my goal to try to meet every student’s academic potential by providing them with the necessary support and materials to help them be successful.
