Meet Mrs. Rubey

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Rubey. I teach second grade at Hoosier Prairie and have previously taught kindergarten and third grade.

I have lived in Terre Haute my whole life and am a product of the Vigo County School Corporation. I attended Sugar Grove Elementary, Sarah Scott Middle School, and South Vigo High School. I attended Indiana State University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Reading in 2014.

On a personal level, I love spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Travis, and I have one daughter, Ryan. We enjoyed spending time outside and going to the park together.
