I have been a lover of music and theater from a young age. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from ISU with a degree in music education. I am a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, which is an honor society for the top music graduates in the nation. I have given private voice, violin, and piano lessons since 2015 and ukulele lessons since 2020. I earned my certification in First Steps in Music in the summer of 2021 and my certification in Conversational Solfege Levels 1 and 2 the following summer.
I have taught elementary music at Meadows, Rio Grande, Dixie Bee, Fayette, and Hoosier Prairie. During my time at Rio Grande, I directed an after school honor choir. I also taught an after school music program at Farmersburg Elementary during the Fall 2019 semester as well as interned for the Terre Haute Children’s Choir in the same semester.
