Meet Mrs. Jennings

I began my teaching career as a teacher and Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center.  Then I moved on to Ouabache Elementary for seven years– 3 years as the 2/3 GT teacher and 4 years as a 3rd grade teacher.  During that time I completed my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Indiana State University.  Finally, I moved to Hoosier Prairie in 2005 where I have taught a 4/5 GT, 5th grade, and a first grade class.  In 2017 I took the test to become certified as a Media Specialist.  I feel at home as the Media Specialist in Hoosier Prairie’s Media Center.

On a personal level, I was born and raised in rural Terre Haute.  I love to scrapbook, spend time with family, exercise, and do landscaping at my home.  If you visit the Media Center, you will also notice that I 😍 Scooby Doo!  I live with my husband, Darrel, and two sons, Nathan and Joshua.  I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with such great teachers, students, and parents.
