Meet Miss Peters
Hello! My name is Miss Hannah Peters. I was born and raised here in Terre Haute. I attended school here in the Vigo County School Corporation. I even began my elementary school days here at Hoosier Prairie before eventually moving to Riley Elementary School. In 2018, I graduated from South Vigo High School. Go Braves! I graduated from Indiana State University in the Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. Since then, I have continued my education at Taylor University in their online Severe and Profound Special Education Applications licensure program. I am excited to be the functional teacher at Hoosier Prairie!
In my free time, I enjoy backpacking. I have backpacked hundreds of miles in several different states! To date, Hocking Hills State Park and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore remain my two very favorite backpacking trips that I have completed! I am also a plant phanatic! I have 68 house plants that currently take up residence in my home! I also have many plans for more plants to add to my collection! I love to take care of my plants as it reminds me to slow down and enjoy the simple things!
I am really excited to be teaching here on the Prairie! Go Pioneers!
