Welcome 8th grade students and parents. I teach literature, which is my dream job! I love reading and hope to instill that value in my students.
I graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education. My husband and I have two children and five grandchildren. Our grandsons live in Tennessee and are very involved in baseball and golf. Our granddaughters live here in Terre Haute and travel to compete in cheerleading events. Being grandparents is at the top of our list of favorite things to do, so we travel a lot to watch them compete.
Eighth grade is such a wonderful year for our students. This is a year to celebrate who they are and start preparing them for who they will become.I look forward to the many adventures we will share throughout this year.
