I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but as a military spouse, I have lived all over. I received my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and my master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. I love teaching language arts and pushing students to be interactive readers and writers. Reading and writing are at the core of all learning and knowledge, so students must continue to grow their skills. There is no such thing as perfection, so I push students to achieve their personal excellence.

Students will:
- Come prepared with proper materials each day ready to go. This includes a charged Chromebook.
- Give their personal best.
- Allow themselves and everyone around them their right to a safe and productive learning environment.
- Remember that we live in a social society, so cooperation and consideration are not only important, they are necessary.
