Mr. Daniel Tanoos, Dean
My name is Daniel Tanoos, and I am the dean of students here at Honey Creek. As a former student at Honey Creek, this school means so much to me and I take great pride in having received the experience of being a Bee. I am a lifelong resident of Terre Haute and am lucky to raise a family in this amazing town. My wife, Ashlee, also an educator, and I have 2 amazing children, Preston who is 3 and Mila who is 2. We love to travel, hike, and spend time hanging at home enjoying our family and friends. This year is my 11th year in education, the last five at Honey Creek, with three of those years teaching social studies. I also coach 7th grade boys basketball here at Honey Creek. I graduated high school from Terre Haute South, received my undergraduate degree from Indiana State University, and my master’s degree from Indiana State as well. Nothing is more fulfilling than being in education, and I love seeing students grow into amazing people as they spend their 3 years in our building. I look forward to seeing each student every day and hope that they realize the impact they can have on the world.
