¡Hola! My name is Señora Marisol Anderson. I’ve been teaching Spanish for 13 years for the Vigo County School Corporation. In previous years I taught at North Vigo High School, at Indiana State University and Ivy Tech. I am a native of Colombia. I have lived in the United States for the last seventheen years. During that time I have earned my Master’s degree in Languages, Literature and Linguistics from Indiana State University, my Indiana teacher’s license, became a United States citizen as well as a being a wife and mother.
We speak Spanish and English in our home. Our 14-year-old daughter knows both languages and our 8-year-old son is following the same path. I love sharing my passion for the language, culture, music and history of Hispanic countries with my students. I hope my class makes learning a language fun and exciting for your son or daughter!
