West Vigo High School has had numerous alumni who have made significant contributions to the local area and to our society as a whole. We are proud to acknowledge some of them as Distinguished Alumni.
West Vigo High School Distinguished Alumni Award is presented annually to nominees associated with West Vigo as alumni whose accomplishments have brought distinction and honor to our school and community in addition to serving as role models for young people. Nominees must have graduated from West Vigo a minimum of 25 years prior to their nomination, have attained excellence through professional achievement, public service, artistic expression, scientific discovery or innovation or have a significant accomplishment in life. A committee will review your nomination and vote during the spring to initiate that year’s Distinguished Alumni who will be recognized at our academic banquet and will speak at an assembly during the school day.
