About TEACHER NAME

ENTER PERSONAL BIO HERE

Hi there. My name is Dori Myers. I am currently in my 13th year of teaching here at Terre Town. I am a mother of two adult children, ages 23 and 28. I come from a very large family, I am one of 7 kids myself, who were born and raised right here in Vigo County.  I graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 1981, and later obtained my BS in Education from Indiana State University.

Growing up in Terre Haute, I was blessed with lifelong friendships, experiences, and I was very fortunate to receive a quality education. As an educator, my goal is to provide my students with an amazing school year filled with laughter, memories, and above all, a quality education filled with lots of learning.  My teaching style is reflected by the students in my classroom.  I spend the first few weeks of school learning what works with them, and adapt the teaching to what is best for them.  Just know that when your child is in my care, they just won’t be getting the best education that I can provide for them,  they will also be loved, safe, and nurtured to be the best student and person that they are destined to be.

I look forward in getting to know each one of my students, and here’s to a fantastic school year!
