We help the Littles with homework, play games, draw and color, and most importantly listen and care. This is a great opportunity to earn Community Service hours and feel great about helping others. This can be a secondary club for any student that would like to meet during clubs. The Big Brothers, Big Sisters that applied via application will meet solely in Room 152. This requires after school hours.

Playing popular Chinese card games, and Chinese phrases that are used to play the game. We will also be trying various different Chinese canles and treats, and learning simple Chinese songs. We will also be practicin writing simple Chinese characters.

We will be exploring classic examples of shows and movies through the various decades.  If you like watching TV and movies from certain time periods this may be the club.  You will not only get to watch examples, but discuss why they are significant in entertainment history.

Description:

This club will introduce students the sport of Trap and Skeet shooting.  Trap shooting was originally created to simulate bird hunting and to provide a method of practice for bird hunters.  This sport dates back to the mid 1800’s.

Gun Safety will be strictly observed, practiced and enforced.   Termination of club participation is possible.

This introduction to sport will require after school participation later in the school year.

SkillsUSA is a student organization for students currently participating in a pathway. Students will be able to apply industry-learned skills to participate in community service, as well as SkillsUSA programs that include local, state and national competitions in which students will demonstrate occupational and leadership skills. Club Name: TTRPG- Tabletop Roleplay Game Club Sponsor(s):  Langley
Description:
In a world that is composed of screens, internet memes, and the occasional (real life) troll, there are fewer opportunities to interact with peers face to face or build up important social skills. Strategy games provide a way to do that. Given a group task, unique tools and a game that focuses on teamwork, attendees will build up these skills without realizing it. And by spending time working together towards a common goal, attendees are more likely to walk away with more friends then when they first arrived.

This club will consist of all current and former Radio/TV Broadcasting or Graphic Design students who have taken Mrs. Hardy’s class. Students will be allowed to continue using the software and equipment they love and are familiar with! This time will also be used as a filming and collaborating opportunity for current production and editing of the North Way Production Broadcasts!
