Mrs. Addie Thompson

I am a K-12 certified Visual Arts teacher who currently teaches art to 9-12 graders at North. I am a graduate of Indiana State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts Education and have been practicing my craft in the High School Art room since 2008.

I teach ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and introduction to art classes.  I also teach advanced levels of each of these courses.  I am the art department chair, student council co-sponsor, and fine arts academic team coach.  I also serve on the school improvement committee.  

Outside of the classroom , I am an active member of the National Art Education Association.  I represent art teachers around the state as a board member of the Art Education Association of Indiana.  I have held many titles over the years, serving as District Representative, Treasurer, President-Elect and am currently serving as President.
