Garden Gurus

Who are the Garden Gurus?

The Garden Guru club is for students who are interested in learning more about nature, how to help our planet, and making the school grounds beautiful through hands-on projects. Meetings are held after school on the first Monday of the month until 4:15 PM. Students learn how to develop and maintain a butterfly garden, a bird sanctuary, and discover ways to help improve our environment with projects such as harvesting rainwater and composting. It is through projects like these that students learn responsibility, teamwork, knowledge about the environment, and gain a sense of pride for the things they have accomplished.
