Welcome to third grade!! I have taught for around 35 years and most has been at Sugar Grove. I graduated from Indiana State with a Masters in Education and an endorsement in Reading. I was the Reading teacher for 4 years at Sugar Grove when I first came, so as you can see, reading is a strong component of my classroom. I have taught one year of 6th grade and the rest have been in second and third. I love the curriculum in third grade and your child will be enveloped with good literature.
- School box or durable zippered pouch
- ear buds for Chrome books
- 2 boxes of Kleenex
- 1 box of Ziplock bags(any size but use gallon a lot)
- 3 pocket folders w/prongs
- 3 composition journals
- Dry erase markers(they will go through more than 1)
- glue sticks
- scissors
- 1 box of crayons
- 1 box of colored pencils
- pencils(no mechanical)
- 2 highlighters(different colors)
