Mrs. Bark is am alumna of West Vigo. She completed her undergraduate work at Indiana State University in special education and completed her masters in Leadership and Supervision at ISU. Mrs. Bark spent twelve years teaching special education, predominantly on the westside. She served as a special education Curriculum Coach, was trained as a Differentiation Trainer, and served on AdvancEd accreditation teams. She served one year as the Assistant Principal at Dixie Bee and Lost Creek Elementaries before becoming the Principal at West Vigo Elementary for three years. Mrs. Bark participated in the Indiana Principal Leadership Institute Cohort 6.
