Bio

Hello, my name is Marcela Burbach and I am originally from Bogota, Colombia. I hold a degree in Business Administration and have over 13 years of experience in Sales. I have lived in Alabama and California before settling down with my husband in Clinton for the last 8 years. We love the Latin culture and have traveled to most of the countries in Latin America. We enjoy living in the countryside and spending time with our family and friends all over the United States.

This year, I started teaching Spanish for the first time and found that I have a passion for teaching my native language to the West Vigo Community. I am currently enrolled in the Transition to Teaching Program at Saint Mary of the Woods, which has been a blessing for me.

Apart from teaching, I also run an online coffee business where I bring specialty coffee from Colombia to the Midwest. My hobbies include walking, dancing, watching soccer, and cooking Latin recipes.

I am honored to be a Spanish Teacher at West Vigo High School.
