Mrs. Wright’s 3rd Grade
Hello! My husband, Micheal, and I are alumni of Lost Creek, Woodrow Wilson, and T.H North. We like to travel and meet new people. Listening to live music and going to country concerts is what we love to do! We have four grown children (Audrey, Stephen, Shelby, and Jase) and two grand kids (Loren and Chandler). Spending time with our family and close friends, rooting for the Bears and Cubs, and having backyard bonfires make us happy! Reading and dancing are two of my favorite hobbies. I used to teach country line dancing years ago!
As a Terre Haute native, I completed my bachelor’s degree at Indiana State University in 1992. I studied elementary education with a minor in reading. Then later in 1997, I finished a master’s degree in reading education. Finally, I completed a sixth year degree through Indiana Wesleyan in 2006. Many of my 28 years in education have been housed at Ben Franklin, Sugar Creek Consolidated, and Lost Creek Elementary. I also taught Title One reading classes at Mayo Middle School in Paris, IL.
Not only do I teach elementary students, I also instruct an evening adult education class on Mondays and Wednesdays at T.H. North. Helping my students achieve their goals gives me joy! I hope to instill great memories and teach valuable life skills to all my students.
