Hello! My name is Mrs. McVey. I would like to welcome you to first grade! I have many exciting things planned for our class this year! I look forward to meeting each of you! Here is a little information about me, my family and how I feel about teaching.
My name is Stephanie McVey. I am 48 years old. I am married to Kenny McVey. We have two boys, Keanan & Kormic.
I really enjoy spending time with my family. Summer is my favorite time of year because I love being outside! I also like visiting state parks, camping, fishing and kayaking!
I have lived in Terre Haute my entire life. I attended Lost Creek Elementary, Woodrow Wilson and Terre Haute North Vigo High School. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 and the degree of Master of Education in 2002, both at Indiana State University. I have taught for 26 years. This year will be my 27th! My favorite academic subjects are reading, writing and science! I am especially passionate about S.T.E.A.M. learning!
