Hello!! I am so glad you’re exploring my Second Grade website! My name is Beth Lynch and I am going into my 7th year teaching at Franklin. I taught Kindergarten for 5 years and am now beginning my second year of Grade 2. I am a lifelong Vigo County resident in addition to coming up through our local schools. I graduated from ISU with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education endorsing in Kindergarten. After college, I substitute taught a few years, married and raised our two children, then returned to the classrooms of Lost Creek Elementary as a daily and long-term sub. That was my very sweet spot for 10 years until I was invited to Benjamin Franklin into my own classroom. These years have been a wonderful and exciting adventure in the land of Kindergartners and now I am eagerly anticipating the years to come teaching grade 2!
In addition to developing and mastering academic skills, our school year together is going to be filled with developing and refining social, emotional and relational skills as well. Our time together is valuable and I can’t wait to welcome students into our classroom family!
Please make time to come by school for Open House. School supplies may be brought to school at that time as well!
