Mrs. Edington

Grade: 2
College: Indiana State University, B.S. 2012.

Hello, Thank you for visiting my site. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher here at Rio Grande. I am married with two children. My passion for education started after my children entered school. I loved helping them at home and volunteering at their school and in their classrooms. I decided to go to college and pursue a degree in teaching. Aside from my passion for teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite things to do in my leisure time is to walk, watch movies, and read.

My goal is to teach my students various learning strategies and life long skills. I want to create a learning environment that is inclusive, encouraging, challenging, and fun. It is also my goal to share my passion for reading with my students in hopes that they too, will develop a love for reading and become better, more fluent readers.
