Welcome to my website
My name is Valinda Titus and this is my 41st year of teaching for the Vigo County School Corporation. I enjoy teaching at Woodrow Wilson and proud to be part of the Warrior staff. The restoration that has taken place over the years is an asset to our city and has put the school on the historic registry.
In my free time I love spending time with my son and his family, reading, graphing and stitching reproduction needlework and playing with my Yorkie.
I want my students to be respectful to adults and classmates and remember that this their job for now. Every opportunity will be given for your student(s) to learn, mature, be successful and ready for high school. Students are expected to report to class with charged chromebook, pencil, paper and texts or workbooks. Assignments will include questions and vocab from the chapter along with related assignments and essay questions. There will be some type of assessment at the end of each lesson and/or chapter. Success in social studies is simple as your student does not need background knowledge in the discipline. Please check with your student for specifics on daily assignments and grades earned.
